In 1970, our founder, Jose Ardid made the decision to create an asset-diversified real estate firm that holds significant assets in numerous locations. At that time, he had first moved to South Florida from Spain and began acquiring and developing properties. His vision was simple – to create a full-service investment and development firm that could also positively impact our customers’ lives and provide long-term value to its stakeholders.
Today, the company is still owned and operated by the Ardid family, under the leadership of co-Presidents Inigo Ardid and Diego Ardid. Together, they leverage considerable skill, knowledge, and expertise in architecture, development, geographic markets, different real estate asset types, and finance towards generating measurable results in the real estate industry and luxury residential lifestyles.
With more than 10 million square feet, 3,000 residential units, and 3,000+ hotel rooms, Key International’s portfolio is currently made up of condominiums, hotels and resorts, multi-family, retail, and premium office space throughout the southeastern United States, Spain, and Portugal. Among these are some of the company’s most high-profile successes, such as the complete renovation and expansion of The Eden Roc Miami Beach, 1010 Brickell, The Harbour, and Boca Beach House Luxury Residences & Marina.
